Well I'll Be Et Fer A Tater.

I have been answering the baby goat question like this:

"Oreo still hasn't had her kid. We think she maybe lost the baby."

And then sadness ensues.

And then today after school this little thang came screaming into the house saying that there was something under the deck.

And here it is!!!

Oreo finally kidded out.

And this is her kid.

It is definitely the cutest kid I have ever seen in my entire life.

And I am totally unbiased.

I mean, look at his ears. One stays straight up and the other is bent down.

CUTE!!

He has a black stripe right down his back and each of his legs is black in front.

The name Stripey came to mind. But that reminds me of Stripe on Gremlins.

The bad Gremlin.

Then we thought naming the goat after our neighbor Charlie would be cool.

I kinda like the sound of it.

It got confusing when we started talking about Charlie and we weren't talking about our neighbor. Or the goat.

We are now thinking Vegeta.

The little guy went right up to the kids. My kids. And loved the attention.

Blackjack and Cass are staying far away. They know somethin's up and don't want any part of it. He goes right through Sam's legs. It's just the cutest thing! When the baby baas, the mama baas and comes right to him. We love how they communicate. Congratulations and good job Oreo.

Ruthie called Grandma and Grandpa and Abbie and Poppy and Dad.

Such big news.

We showed off a bit to anyone who wanted to see the cuteness.

If you'd like to see the cuteness, come on over. Just keep in mind that we live in the land of poo!

Now, if I can just get my kids to come back in the house.
