Our version

of Family Night.
At least tonight's version. Ready?
Make the kids clean up their rooms and the house--activity.
Get all the kids into the van and buckled of their own accord.--family bondage, I mean bonding.
Get twist cones at the Triple Stop--refreshments.
"BE NICE. AMEN."--lesson.
Listening to the radio--opening and closing songs.
"Please make my kids like each other and listen to their mom."--opening and closing prayers.

We actualy did one a few weeks back where we dressed porter up in armor and told the "putting on the whole armor of God". He talkes about it so much you'd think I would do another one. Poor Porter, now that the big boys aren't around at night as much (work, homework, etc.) we kind of slack too much. I'll try to be better. I'll follow your recipe next week.

Good family Night! We do what we can, huh. I love the rolls story. We forget how simply our kids think. They are so sweet and full of love! And of course they'll ask and say whatever is on their mind.
