Homemade Sloppy Joes
(a.k.a. Sloppy Ikes, Sloppy Sams, Sloppy Ruths)
Cook all those things together until meat is cooked and veggies are soft.
Drain.
Add:1 cup tomato soup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 teaspoon prepared mustard.
Mix together and simmer until heated through.
Serve on hamburger buns or rolls. They are tangy and sweet and it always goes fast!

I'm loving your make a meal mondays!!! I will be making a batch of this. I will enjoy some now and freeze for later. Hey, a gal can only eat soooooo much sloppy joe meals without getting sick of it, can't she???
Ohhhh! Yummy! We LOVE sloppy joes here!! Thanks so much for the recipe :)
I have yet to find a good sloppy joe recipe! I'll have to try it! Thanks!
Sounds much better than the sloppy Joes my mom used to make - I hated those things! But - with brown sugar and mustard - I am in.

Yum! I use the same recipe but with ketchup instead of tomato soup. I think it would be a lot less expensive (and easier on my food storage) if I switched it. I'm going to try this next time! - Katie
Maybe you should take over Make a meal Mondays. This looks delicious. I've never made my own sauce before. I need to try this one.
